The information provided below is if you suspect your child is having difficulty or functioning at a level different from that of his/her peers. Sometimes because of illness, injury, disability, or developmental delay, a child may struggle to learn, develop, and participate fully in these day-to-day activities:

• Communicating
• Speaking
• Playing with Others
• Processing Information
• Social Abilities

If you find that your child may be experiencing difficulty with any of the above that significantly hinders his/her abilities, then you should have your child assessed.
